How it works:
Robopop60 is a vortex popcorn machine. It works with both types of popcorn – butterfly and mushroom, productivity up to 60 lbs/h.
Butterfly popcorn usually used for salty popcorn, because it's volume coefficient is bigger.
For salty popcorn, we add some salt powder and oil in the final stage - you need no oil for opening the grains. We use it for flavor and taste only; that's why Robopop60 uses, on average, 30% less of oil depending on settings.
After the salty popcorn is ready, it should be transferred to a warmer cabinet for storing popcorn mode. This keeps it crisp and warm. Robolabs also produces an assortment of floor and tabletop warmer cabinets for storing popcorn - they have a LED-backlight, a heating temperature of 86 to 140 Fahrenheit, and the internal space can be divided into sections using partitions.
Warmer cabinets have sizes 30", 36" and 48".
Mushroom popcorn usually used for gourmet caramel popcorn. Grains are opened into ready-made popcorn in the Robopop60 vortex machine without using oil, which saves quite a lot of money in terms of annual production.
After Robopop60, we place the popcorn in a caramelizer: either in RoboSugar10 with a 10-gallon kettle or in Roboshugar20 with a 20-gallon kettle. The advantage of the RoboSugar20 model is that the boiler works in two temperature modes - this allows you to make both caramel and cheese popcorn (as you know, cheese paste contains milk protein coagulates at about 110-115 Fahrenheit).
Why mushroom popcorn recommended for caramel gourmet popcorn?
During the separation of finished caramel popcorn, butterfly popcorn often breaks because of its shape, resulting in waste. The popcorn mushroom is round in form; therefore, it produces less waste and broken particles during separation.
A popular trend is a savory popcorn - with various spices, herbs, and so on. Usually, lightly salted popcorn (Robopop60) used. In RoboMix Mini, you can put popcorn in a bucket, add spices and oil from the pump. Then close the lid, and after just a minute, the mixer gently mixes the popcorn with spices and butter. Productivity is 44,5 lbs/h.
