Repair Crepe Maker
Problem: I have a unit that is having problems with the drum spinning. We cleaned the rollers as much as possible, but it has a problem spinning on it’s own. They might need to push the drum to get it moving, but then it gets stuck. Any suggestions?
You need to do the following:
1) Open both sides panels;
2) Find the blade spring:
Both springs (on left and on the right sides) by default have tight number 3.
Try to replace springs and put both on number 2 or number 1. It will loosen the tight, it will be easier for a drum to rotate.
3) Run the machine in Stop mode (left handle on stop). In this case drum works without additional load (doesn't move the plate with the crepe mix) If it works ok - turn to start and check, does it rotate with the load.
4) Put both sides back.
Also, use an ear stick to clean the proper area inside the blade, maybe they're some carbon from old crepe mix there.
We hope that these recommendations will help you troubleshoot!
